I’m a St. Louis-based photographer, and began shooting in March 2024. Mostly I do social documentary or street photography and the impromptu moment is where I’m most at home.

There’s a line in The Wire about how a detective should come onto a scene: soft eyes. Go in with a head full of what you expect to find and you’ll miss what’s actually there. It’s the closest thing I have to a method.
